The Nexus 6 phablet is co-developed by Google and Motorola Mobility and it is seen as the flagship device of what Google can offer. The Nexus 6 was unveiled on October 15, with pre-orders going live since October 29 in the US.

But those outside the US, such as India, were able to pre-order the smartphone at a later date through online retailer Flipkart. And now the Indian company has went on Twitter and said that those who preordered the Motorola-made Nexus 6 from November 18, will get it from next week.

So this means that from December 8, Indian customers who were among the first to pre-order it, will see the mammoth device shipping at their doors. The Nexus 6 is the successor to the Nexus 5 and is the sixth smartphone in the Google Nexus series

The Nexus 6’s hardware is quite similar to that of the second generation Moto X, being powered by a 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB of RAM, and coming in either 32 or 64 GB of internal storage. The smartphone features a 3220 mAh battery and Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology that is said to deliver 6 hours of operation with 15 minutes of charge.

The Nexus 6 is quite a big smartphone, featuring a 5.96-inch display with a 2560×1440 resolution. There’s also a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, as well. The downsides are that the Nexus 6 does not have a microSD card slot, a removable battery and FM radio.

But the Nexus 6 runs Android 5.0 “Lollipop”, and along with all those moath-foaming specs, it’s easy to see why so many would love to get their hands on such a beauty. Are you among the lucky ones?
