Xiaomi Mi 4 Priced at Rs. 19,999 in India, up for Sale on Flipkart from February 10
Xiaomi has finally announced its highly anticipated Mi 4 in India a few days back. The smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999 and will go on sale on February 10 via the usual flash sale on online Indian retailer Flipkart. Pre-egistrations for purchasing the handset have began already when the announcement was made.
The Xioami Mi 4 features a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with a 441 ppi resolution. The handset is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB RAM.
There’s a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, a Sony IMX214 BSI sensor and also support for 4K video recording. For selfie lovers, there’s a 8MP front-facing camera with Sony Exmor R sensor.
The Mi 4 comes with Android 4.4.4 KitKat pre-installed, with a MIUI 6 skin running on top of it. Connectivity-wise, it features 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth and GPS. There’s a 3,080 mAh battery and 16GB internal storage (expandable to 64GB). The device is 8.9mm thin and weighs 149 grams.
The head of Xiaomi in India said there will be around 25,000 to 30,000 Xiaomi Mi 4 on sale on February 10th. Hugo Barra, Vice President of Xiaomi Global, said the following:

With this launch, Xiaomi is looking to further enhance its position in the booming mobile Indian market. Domestic players are also growing their presence, which will put further pressure on the Chinese company.
