This is one solid leak for the upcoming lens from Canon as the press images, specifications and also the pricing for the lens has surfaced in a single leak.

Canon Rumors has posted four high resolution product shots of the (yet to be officially announced) Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM II along with its full specifications, detailed product description and the pricing for the lens.

According to the website, the new lens is made of 21 elements in 16 groups which includes one fluorite and one super UD element which helps, “provide impressive contrast and resolution with reduced chromatic aberration across the entire zoom range.”

It will also feature a fluorine coating on the front and rear elements to control smearing and fingerprints. It also has Canon’s ASC (Air Sphere Coating) which helps reduce backlight flaring and ghosting.
