The Hobbit 3: The Battle of the Five Armies Trailer: NEW Lord Of The Rings Scenes in Upcoming Release
The first official trailer for a highly-anticipated Hobbit sequel, “The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies” has finally been revealed. The movie will also feature some never-seen scenes from Lord Of The Rings.
The official twitter account of “The Hobbit 3″ tweeted about these good news, uploading the 1 minute and 57 second video with the caption: “It’s finally here. Watch the exclusive new teaser trailer for #TheHobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies!”

You may notice the whole major cast in this trailer, including Evangeline Lilly, Orlando Bloom, Cate Blanchett, Ian McKellen, Luke Evans and Martin Freeman. All these actors were present at this year’s ComicCon in San Diego, expect McKellen and Freeman. Benedict Cumberbatch, Lee Pace, Andy Serkis and Elijah Wood were also in attendance. The panel was led by Stephen Colbert, with the complete Hobbit costume.
“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” will be the last movie from The Hobbit series, directed by Peter Jackson. We know how Lord Of The Rings ended, and just because of that we could expect the epic ending to the Hobbit series, as well. Speaking of Lord Of The Rings, director Peter Jackson has revealed something very special in his interview at ComicCon.
He said that never seen-before footage of Lord Of The Rings might be featured in the new Hobbit movie.
“There are a few scenes that haven’t been seen from Lord Of The Rings, but not many. We might try to put them back in,” says Jackson. “It’s a big logistical thing which hasn’t wrapped our heads around. But if there’s enough interest…”
You won’t have to wait so long until the movie release. “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” will hit theaters on 3D and IMAX on December 17 2014, just in time to make the holidays even more joyful for all Hobbit fans.
