Vodafone India is launched its affordable 3G capable smartphone in the Indian market and this device is called Vodafone Smart. The good news is that this Android smartphone is priced at just 4,885 INR. While, the price is quite attractive this smartphone does not include latest hardware but may get some attention for those who need a basic 3G enabled touchscreen smartphone.
The Vodafone Smart runs Android 2.2.1 and Vodafone users get a special introductory offer of double the amount of free data on their 3G subscription but only till the end of this year. In regards to the specifications the device has a 2.8-inch display, it is powered by a 528 MHz ARM processor, 2 megapixel rear camera, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. A 2GB microSD card is included in the box, expandable up to 32GB.
