Steve Job’s Biopic Starring Ashton Kutcher to Premier in Sundance Festival, 2013
The eagerly awaited Steve Jobs biopic is supposed to premiere for the closing night at the prestigious Sundance Festival of 2013. Ashton Kutcher plays Steve Jobs in the movie which is reportedly titled “jOBS”.
Directed by Joshua Michael Stern, the film will span the life and works of the entrepreneur and co-founder of the iconic Apple Computers in three decades. Stern stated that his film portrays Jobs as “a candid, inspiring and personal portrait of the one who saw things differently”.
The 2013 Sundance film festival will run from January 17 to 27 and will be where other high profile releases will be premiered including Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s directorial debut, “Don Jon’s Addiction”, Michael Winterbottom’s take on the life of adult magazine publisher Paul Raymond, “The Look of Love” and the highly awaited biopic of famous porn star Linda Lovelace called “Lovelace”.
Aaron Sorkin is also reportedly working on a biopic based on Walter Isaacson’s biography on Jobs who had commissioned him to write a candid account to help his children understand him better.
