Outdated Smartphones you can Trade-In at RadioShack

With the holiday season closing in it is time for you to upgrade your inventory with the latest in tech, and of course dump the old. RadioShack is all prepared to make shopping slightly more convenient and help get rid of that old smartphone. Well, of course the smartphone has to be in working condition as it gets appraised in store or online. In return, The Shack will help you out with store credit, which you can use to purchase something new for yourself or probably a holiday gift for someone else. Here is a selection of five smartphones you might consider exchanging for store credit with RadioShack.

HTC DROID Incredible

The DROID Incredible released back in April 2010 was indeed a great smartphone at that time. However, it is old now and there are quite a few new smartphones from HTC that have recently made it into the market.

Apple iPhone 3GS

It was one the best smartphones when it released, but Apple has moved on and if you are an Apple fanboy then so must you. It is a great time to upgrade to the new iPhone 4S, which is powered by a dual-core A5 processor, an 8 megapixel camera and of course includes the famous Siri.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

If you did the mistake of buying the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 then you are in luck. Sony Ericsson failed to impress us with this Android smartphone and if you have a mutual feeling then you can use this opportunity to discard this device.

Motorola DROID

This is a smartphone that will go down in history mainly because this device single-handedly increased the popularity of Google’s Android mobile operating system. On the other hand if you are not very excited about this smartphone then trade it in. Also, Motorola has resurrected the famous RAZR series with the introduction of the new Motorola DROID RAZR, which is up for purchase.

BlackBerry Storm 9530

RIM made its quite apparent that they are no longer interested in their Storm series of touchscreen smartphones. So, if you have one lying around go search for it and exchange it for store credit.

While we only talked about outdated smartphones you could exchange at RadioShack, this Trade and Save Program also allows you to trade in other gadgets including, camera, gaming consoles, laptops and almost everything else you can think of.

The Iphone 3GS maybe a bit outdated but like me there many people who still use the iphone 3G and 3GS.

I love my 3GS and still use it on a daily bases obviously there are people who have had for 2 years now since the release but Ive only had it for 6 months and I love it also i like the apps that you can download on plus it has a desent 3 megapixel camera with video and in 2 years time I might upgrade to the iphone 5 when or if  it comes out
