Google Nexus 7 (2017) Got Cancelled?

The most anticipated Google device is the Nexus 7 tablet, right now the whole internet is buzzing with rumors and speculations’ regarding the tablet but Google has yet to confirm that they are working on it. Even though the tablet is surrounded by so much hype, tech experts believe that the reason to why Google is not confirming anything is because the company actually wants to kill off their Nexus 7 production.

One of the reasons why Google doesn’t want to create the new tablet is because they can’t find any tech company that will agree to their terms. A few reports popped up this month that showed Google  was actually in talks with Huawei, but Google wanted the tablet to only wear their branding and since Huawei is still technically new to the market and the Chinese company is trying to make a name for itself, Huawei didn’t agree to those terms. The rumor was confirmed by Huawei’s VP Collin Giles, who said that Huawei is not settling anymore to just be an anonymous manufacture and the company wants recognition instead.

Another reason that probably influenced Google to halt the production line of the Nexus 7 is because the tablet has a rather small size. The problem is that in this day and age, customers always tend to want bigger displays and the tablet market is filled with huge tablets that can provide users with huge displays and bigger resolution than the Nexus 7 can. Google probably did a focus study from which they can get an idea on how much profits the tablet will bring them and the result didn’t come out well. If this is the case, it’s quite strange since all tech fans are hyped about a new Google tablet especially since it was rumored to come with Andromeda OS, an operating system that’s created by using both Android OS and Chrome OS.
