Google Nexus 7 2016 vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 – Best Tablet Rumors

Latest Consumer Technology Products On Display At CES 2016

The year 2016 has been filled with great tech devices but what 2016 lacked was the addition of great tablets from the likes of Google and Samsung. Customers have been used to see the two companies competing each year with their Nexus and Galaxy Tab devices but it looks like the two tech giants didn’t follow the tradition this year. With that being said, the internet is filled with rumors regarding Google’s upcoming Nexus 7 device that will be launched during 2017, but the question on everyone’s mind is if the new Nexus tablet will be better than Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S3.

The first reports showed that Google teamed with Huawei in order to manufacture the Nexus tablet, but the two companies didn’t see eye to eye and they halted the production. Right now, rumor has it that Google is in talks with HTC. Even though everybody is talking about the tablet, it’s release date hasn’t been confirmed and neither Samsung has confirmed the official date for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3, but tech experts are expecting both tablets to be released during the first quarter of 2017.

Both devices will be equipped with high end hardware, but let’s take a closer look and see which one of them prevails. The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be powered by an Exnos processor and a 4000 mAh battery, while on the other hand the Nexus 7 will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset and a bigger 5100 mAh battery.

There aren’t that many reports to indicate what cameras the two tablets but everyone is expecting Google to equip the device with a 13MP main camera and a smaller 5MP secondary one. On the other hand, Samsung will probably install the same 8MP rear camera and the 2MP selfie camera.

Taking in consideration that we’re talking about Samsung and Google, the two companies will surely equip their devices with only the best high end hardware there is. Because the companies have had so much success with their devices in the past, the quality bar is raised pretty high.
