Apple Mac Pro now available in India for Rs. 229,900

Earlier this year during WWDC, Apple unveiled its new Mac Pro which features a brand new cylindrical design. Now, the Mac Pro is finally available in the Indian market and the pricing starts from Rs. 229,900 for the most basic variant of the monstrous machine.

Along with the new revolutionary design featuring a cylindrical body measuring 9.9×6.6 inches, this system has some nifty upgrades. The cylindrical body is beautiful shell on the outside and the interior features powerful hardware.

The Mac Pro is powered by the next-generation Intel Xeon E5 processor which it up to 12 cores of processing power. It has a new PCIe-based flash storage system which works 2.5 times faster than the SATA SSD storage system. Apart from this the machine further includes dual AMD FirePro workstation-class GPU with up to 6GB of dedicated VRAM and I supports 4k high definition video resolutions.

In terms of the connectivity, the Mac Pro has a built-in Thunderbolt 2 ports, USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, HSMI 1.4 ports, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac wireless connectivity and Bluetooth. In terms of the software, it comes pre-loaded with OS C Mavericks and bundled with apps like Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X and Aperture.

The Mac Pro comes is different variants depending on the needs of its users. The price starts from Rs. 229,900 for the 3.7GHz quad-core Xeon X5, dual AMD FirePro D300 GPUs with 2GB of VRAM each, 12GB of RAM and 256GB PCIe-based flash storage, while the for Rs. 299,900 one can get 3.5GHz six-core XEON X5, dual AMD FirePro D500 GPUs with 3GB VRAM each, 16GB of RAM and 256GB of PCIe-based flash storage.

The more faster 8 and 12 core Intel Xeon X5 processors, AMD FirePro D700 GPUs with 6GB of VRAM each, up to 64GB of RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe-based flash storage system is available as configure-to-order and price will adds up further depending on your customized configurations.
