Photos of Moto X with wooden backs leaked online

This is certainly not the first time we are hearing about the wooden back panel for the Moto X smartphone. It has leaked previously on several occasion and even Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside mentioned in an interview with Marques Brownlee that new material options for the Moto X will be available soon.

Now, the extremely trusted guys from @evleaks have leaked another image of the Moto X featuring a wooden pack panel and this time with a Verizon logo on it.

Many rumors suggest that these variants will hit the stores just in time for the holidays, so most likely we should see them towards the end of the month. This customization is likely to be available through all major carriers.

Very recently, Motorola had launched the Moto Maker customization tool for all major carriers in the US and these customizations will eventually be available for other US carriers as well.

It is rumored that the wood panel customization option will not be free and it will come with an additional $50 US over the device price. These will likely be available in teak, rosewood, bamboo and ebony.
