Surface Pro 2 Stock Almost Depleted at Amazon, 128GB Version Sells for $800
A while back, we told you that Microsoft has decided to discontinue the Surface Pro 2 and focus on selling the Surface Pro 3. But the new generation is also more expensive, so the Surface Pro 2 might still be a good deal for some.
But as Microsoft has decided to stop selling the device, this means that its stock will quickly become depleted across other retailers, as well. Don’t look for it on the Microsoft Store, because it isn’t there anymore.
You will find it at other retailers such as BestBuy, but the price isn’t that great, despite the fact that we are approaching Black Friday. As a matter of fact, you get a Surface 2 for quite a good price on Black Friday, if you don’t mind Windows RT.
As for the Surface Pro 2, you can still buy it at Amazon.com for a good price. I am referring to the 128 GB version in Dark Titanium. The price is currently slightly more than $800, but there are just 10 units left in stock at this particular retailer, so you need to hurry up.
For that price, you can also get a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 64 GB with Intel Core i3, but if you want more storage space, maybe the Pro 2 is your choice. Other specs of the tablet include Intel 4th Generation Core i5, 4GB of memory, 1 x USB 3.0, Mini Display Port Output, MicroSDXC card reader.
