Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 gets a new gameplay trailer
I like war games, but most of them have a similar gameplay which is the reason for my eagerness to get my hands on Sniper Ghost Warrior 2. While the developers recently announced that the game’s release has now been pushed back to early 2013 there is a new gameplay trailer out on the web which gives you a glimpse of what to expect from the game.
As the name suggests, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 is entirely focused on the role of a sniper in a war situation. This game uses the powerful CryEngine 3 so one can expect it to be visually beautiful. It uses realistic bullet physics and increasing the difficulty takes makes it as challenging as sniping someone in real life.
“Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is a first-person shooter that employs stealth, hand-to-hand assassinations and titular sniping techniques. Gameplay features realistic bullet physics that factors distance, wind, and bullet drop when sniping targets.
The player takes control of Private Security Consultant Captain Cole Anderson in various missions around the world including urban fighting in Sarajevo, tropical jungles in Burma and the mountains of Tibet.”
The game is expected to be launched on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in January 2013. A Wii U version of Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 is rumored to be under development.
