Samsung ATIV Odyssey Windows Phone 8 based smartphone leaked
So far Samsung has only revealed a single Windows Phone 8 based device which is called the Samsung ATIV S. It is highly likely that the company has another device which might soon make an official appearance.
Images of a yet to be announced Samsung device have surfaced online. Samsung and Verizon seem to be getting ready for the launch of this new Windows Phone 8 based device which is called the Samsung ATIV Odyssey.
The Samsung ATIV Odyssey is a rumored to feature a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1280×720 pixels resolution. It will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor along with an Adreno 225 GPU.
This smartphone will also include 1GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and an 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p full HD video recording. The specifications suggest that this is not a mid-ranged device and might go up against the Lumia 920 and HTC 8X in the US market.
There are no details as to when the smartphone will be up for grabs with Verizon Wireless. It will also supports 4G LTE and did recently clear the FCC so it might hit the stores in the next few weeks.
