For the past few years, Huawei has continuously expanded its presence in the mobile market, getting strong with every year. In 2014, the company has put on the market a good deal of new smartphones, and now one of them is made available for European customers, as well.
Judging by its specs, The Huawei Honor 6 is definitely a high-end smartphone but it is available within then price range of a rather modest mid-ranger. Which, as a matter of fact, is the main selling point of the device. As smartphones become more powerful, a big fight is being fought in the cheaper segment of devices.
At the moment, the Huawei Honor 6 smartphone is priced at £250 in the UK and €300 in the rest of Europe, which puts in on par with OnePlus One, which seems to be darling of millions of tech savvy consumers across the world.
The Huawei Honor 6 sports 5” inch, 1920×1080 display with an impressive 445 PPI density, if we take into account its price tag. It also sports 1.3 GHz octa-core Kirin 920 SoC and a nice 3GB of RAM. Indeed, these are some impressive specs that should make the folks at OnePlus think thoroughly the launch of the OnePlus One 2.
But this is not all! The smartphone also packs a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, which should appeal to selfie lovers, as well. There’s 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64 GB with a MicroSD card slot.
The smartphone is powered by a nice 3000 mAh battery which should be enough to provide a decent life span. The device measures 139.30 x 68.80 x 6.50 mm and weighs 135 g.
A flipcover case, protective case, and a set of headphones as accessories will be made available for the Honor 6, but we’re not sure whether they will be bundled with the purchase or you’ll have to buy them separately.
