Acer launches Windows Phone Mango Smartphone called Allegro
Windows Phone Mango is pulling quite a lot of attention, Nokia has launched its new Lumia series of Windows Phone smartphones and we have also heard that Microsoft would be pushing this update to all first generation Windows Phone 7 smartphones.
Now, Acer has launched their new Windows Phone Mango based smartphone called the Acer Allegro. The device was first announced in France and it is the first Windows Phone Mango based smartphone from the company. There is not word about the global launch of the device and it is priced at €299 which converts to 20,400 INR approximately.
The Acer Allegro sports a 3.6-inch WVGA display, it has 8GB of built-in storage, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor. The device obviously is placed in the mid-range category. It also sports the ‘Fast Charge’ feature which allows its 1300 mAh battery to charge 2.5 times faster than any other Acer smartphone or tablet device. It will be available in white and blue.
