Intel powered XOLO X900 gets price cut, now selling for Rs. 17,500

The world’s first Intel powered Android based smartphone called the Lava XOLO X900 has got a price-cut in the Indian market. Originally retailing for Rs. 21,999 the device is now up for grabs for Rs. 17,500.

The XOLO X900 is a device which sports a 4-inch display, has an 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 16GB of built-in storage, 1GB of RAM, NFC and it is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2460 processor. The device comes pre-loaded with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and while the company has promised an Android 4.0 ICS update there is absolutely no further information on the availability of the update.

Additionally, along with the price-cut Lava is offering a Jabra BT-2045 Bluetooth headset worth Rs. 1,499 with every purchase of the XOLO X900. The device is up for grabs for the new price with online retailers Flipkart and nCarry.
