HTC launches Desire X in India for Rs. 19,799
Taiwanese smartphone maker – HTC has finally announced the HTC Desire X for Rs.19,799 in the Indian market. This smartphone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich mobile operating system and it is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play processor which is clocked at 1GHz.
The phone looks quite neat with its 4-inch Super LCD display which has a resolution of 800×400 pixels. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, but disappointingly does not sport a front-facing camera. The Desire X is equipped with 768MB of RAM and is skinned with the famous (or infamous) HTC Sense 4.0 UI, providing a smooth multi-tasking experience.
Added to the above features, it has an internal memory of 4GB while you can expand it up to 32GB via the microSD slot. The smartphone also has Beats Audio technology integrated for better music output and comes with 25 GB of DropBox cloud storage for 2 years. It has a 1650mAh battery which is rated to provide a talk time of up to 6 hours approximately.
It currently stands in a competition with the Sony Xperia Sola and the Sony Neo V and might stand weak in front of the Sony Xperia J which is predicted to launch by the end of this month.
