HTC confirms that One X and One S will get Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ starting October

Along with the official announcement of the new HTC One X+ smartphone, the Taiwanese manufacturer also revealed their plans on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates for two of their recent devices, namely – HTC One X and HTC One S.

The company has confirmed that it will start rolling out the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to both the device starting this month, however they have not been specific with the date. The new update will also bring the new version of Sense UI which is known as HTC Sense 4+. This new version will bring some neat improvements, a more efficient interface, enhancements to the camera and the new video hub.

Additionally, HTC has added a new feature to HTC Sense 4+ which is called HTC Get Started. This is a web based service that guides a user through the set-up and personalization process of the smartphone via a web browser.

The company hopes to complete the update roll out for both – HTC One X and HTC One S by the end of this year.
