ASUS recently revealed one of their upcoming tablet devices which is known as the ASUS TOUGH. As the name suggests that tablet would be is a rugged device which is water proof and dust resistant. It has a 7-inch display and like most other 7-inch tablets it runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

The ASUS Tough is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor and sports a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. It will come with 16GB of built-in storage, along with a 5 megapixel rear camera but no front facing camera. In regards to the connectivity the device supports WiFi, EVDO, Bluetooth, GPS and WiMax.
It seems very capable of going up against other 7-inch tablet devices available in the market and it comes with the added benefits of extra protection. The device also includes a USB port and a microSD card slot.
ASUS is yet to reveal the pricing and the availability for the ASUS TOUGH and we will update you once we have more information on the same.
