Assassin’s Creed Origins PC System Requirements Unveiled

Assassin’s Creed Origins is scheduled to come out on October 27th which is only a few weeks away. From what Ubisoft has been showing us through gameplay teasers, it’s safe to say that this game is going to bring the Assassin’s Creed franchise back to its old glory. Nonetheless, the game is coming out to PC, Xbox and PlayStation 4 at the same time.

Wider Range of Supported Machines

Considering how this is a triple A game, everyone assumes that it’s going to require some extraordinary hardware specs in order to run flawlessly. Luckily, this is not the case since the developers behind the game actually made it their point to optimize it so that the range of supported machines is wider than ever.

Jose Araiza, who is the chief coordinating producer on Assassin’s Creed Origins stated the following in regard to the game’s system requirements: “The PC version was developed in parallel with all the other versions by the main team in Montreal, in collaboration with our PC-dedicated team in Ubisoft Kiev”. Moreover, Jose Araiza also said the following: “This approach was adopted while the game features were being designed, making PC and mouse-and-keyboard controls a full port of the equation from the get-go”.

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit), Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 SP1;
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5GHz or AMD FX-6350 @ 3.9GHz;
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD R9 270 (2048 MB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or higher);
  • RAM: 6GB;
  • Resolution: 720p;
  • Video Preset: Lowest;

Recommended Requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (64-bit), Windows 8.1 and Windows 7 SP1;
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.5GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0GHz;
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or AMD R9 280X (3GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or higher);
  • RAM: 8GB;
  • Resolution: 1080p;
  • Video Preset: High;
