Sony Xperia Z4 Specs LEAKED, Release Date Set for March 2015
A few hours ago, we told you that all the smartphones and tablets in the Sony Xperia Z line will be getting the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade. Now we’re talking about the upcoming release of the flagship Sony Xperia Z4.
If recent rumors are anything to go by, the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 will be officially unveiled in Q1 2015, which could very well be the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, where the company has launched previous generation, as well.
The Sony Xperia Z4 could be the first smartphone launched by the Japanese company that will pack a QHD display, a feature that will improve it from the current Xperia Z3. Let’s have a look at other leaked specs:
5.5-inch QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution display
First Sony smartphone to support LTE Cat.6 (300Mbps download / 50Mbps upload)
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with an octa-core 64bit processor clocked at 2.8GHz and Adreno 430 graphics
4GB of RAM
Double the storage of the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z2
New curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor with a 20.7-megapixel resolution
We will be at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona, but most likely more rumors will emerge about the much-awaited fourth-generation Sony Xperia Z, so we’ll be keeping an eye on them.
