Temple Run 2 for iPhone, iPad and Android Getting Football Players
Temple Run 2 is a very popular casual mobile game with millions of players all over the world. It’s among the first infinity runner games, and it tries all that it can to remain popular and interesting.
Now, the latest version 1.11 has been gradually rolling out, releasing new features for iPhone, iPad owners and Android ones in the same time. It’s nice to see that the game is getting cross-platforms updates in the same time.
So, according to the changelog, football players are going to be available as playable characters for a limited time. Probably Imangi Studios wants to try and see whether this will prove to be successful. Here’s what the official update says:
“Take the idol and escape the temple as your favorite Pro Football Player! Football players available for a limited time only. Pick up the first down while you can! Show your support by downloading your favorite player and helping him win his weekly head to head matchup!
Many new players coming this season, so check our Facebook and Twitter page for all the updates! Want to escape the Evil Demon Monkey as YOUR favorite player? Let us know who you want to see!”
At the moment, it seems that Russell Wilson of Seattle Seahawks and quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick of San Francisco 49ers will be available for a limited time as playable characters.
Previously, another popular sportsman, and namely Usain Bolt, has been included in the game, as well, and this proved to be a good tactic. Each character is crrently available as a $0.99 in-app purchase and it’s for a limited time.
