First Forza Horizon 2 DLC Already Released, Here’s What it Contains
When it comes to gaming industry, we don’t see expansion packs anymore, since they have been replaced by downloadable content. Many modern games have downloadable content available, and while not all downloadable content is free, this content usually expands the game with new features, new storylines and cosmetics.
If you’re a fan of the racing games on Xbox 360 and Xbox One you’ll be pleased to hear that DLC for Forza Horizon 2 is available for download. Forza series has been present since 2005 on Xbox, and we have seen seven games from this amazing series.
Forza Horizon 2 is the latest addition and the seventh game in the series, and just like its predecessor, it’s a open-world racing video game. Game takes place in southern France and northern Italy and it has three times more drivable area than the previous game.
Of course, there’s a wide selection of vehicles available as well, and Forza Horizon 2 has about 200 cars available in the game, but with the new DLC you’ll get more cars available.
This DLC is called “Mobil 1 Car Pack” and it’s already available for download.
This DLC features six new cars: 2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe, 2014 Jeep Cherokee SRT, 2013 Renault Clio RS 200, 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco 16v, 1957 Maserati 300 S and the 1988 BMW M5. One great thing about this DLC is that BMW M5 is free but if you want to get access to other five cars you’ll have to pay $5 for it.
This is a decent DLC, but the game was released a week ago, and fans didn’t really expect to see a DLC so soon. Of course, the developer Playground Games didn’t mention anything about DLC before the game was released.
Nevertheless, Forza Horizon 2 is an amazing game, and we can’t shake the feeling that we’ll see more DLC with more cars available in the future.
