Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS4 Needs 50GB, BIGGEST PS4 Game to Date?
Grand Theft Auto 5 is an amazing game and without any doubt, one of the most played across the world. Now, we have the official release date for the Xbox One and Play Station 4 gaming consoles, as well as for the PC.
Now, we have some interesting details related to the upcoming release of the game on PS4. According to a forum user, it seems that the game will require as much as 50 gigabytes to be downloaded.
As you can see for yourself in the above screenshot, GTA 5 will require a minimum space of 50 GB. As the forum user says, this could make it the biggest PS4 game to date in terms of download size. Here’s what he said:
“The European PS store seems to contain a new pre-order page that gives us some new insight into how large GTA V’s file size will be on PS4. The description states that there is a minimum save size of 50 GB.
If this is to be believed, it would mean GTA V will be the biggest PS4 game to date in terms of file size, at ~50 GB. Currently, the largest PS4 game is Wolfenstein: The New Order, coming in at 46.9 GB, and a 48 GB minimum save size. Also, motion gameplay confirmed?”
The digital PS Store also seems to confirm that the game even has support for the PlayStation Move motion controllers, which would be really cool, but not that unexpected.
Developer Rockstar Games didn’t reveal too many details about the features and improvements it made over the PS3 or Xbox 360 editions that appeared last year.
Meanwhile, the PS Store listing has been removed in PAL regions, while the North American one has no mention of space requirements or PS Move support.
