Lenovo unveils its new Yoga Android tablets features up to 18 hours of Battery Life
Lenovo has unveiled two of its new Android tablets at an even in YouTube LA Space, both belong to its Yoga series. The first one is called the Yoga 8-inch while the second one is called the Yoga 10-inch. These tablets are priced at $249 (Rs. 15,200 approximately) for the 8-inch and at $299 (Rs. 18,300 approximately) for the 10-inch variant. At the moment these devices have only been announced for the US market.
Both the display size variants will feature a 1280×800 pixels resolution display and will be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT 8125 processor for the Wi-Fi version and with a MediaTek MT8389 processor for the 3G capable version.
Apart from the aforementioned the tablets will include 1GB of RAM and will come in 16GB and 32GB of built-in storage capacity options. They will also feature a 5 megapixel rear camera and a secondary front facing VGA quality camera. Lenovo claims that the tablets will provide a battery life of more than 18 hours. In terms of the software these will come pre-loaded with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
An unique feature of these Yoga series tablets is what Lenovo calls the Multimode feature, this offers three different ways to hold and use the tablet as it is explained in the video below.
