Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 to Feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 CPU, Truly Bezel Less Display and Android 8.0 Oreo
Things are looking great for Xiaomi fans since the company is getting ready to launch its highly anticipated Mi Mix 2 flagship smartphone on September 11th. This is an all-round premium smartphone that will go head on against the likes of Galaxy Note 8 and iPhone 8. The reason why Mi Mix 2 will be faced with such a tough competition is because it will be equipped with impressive specs alongside a bezel-less display.
The first thing that stands about Mi Mix 2 is its truly bezel less display. Even though Samsung’s flagship smartphone also ships with thin bezels, Mi Mix 2’s bezels are even thinner. The display will measure in at 6.2-inches and it will use IPS LCD technology that’s capable of rendering pictures at a high pixel resolution of 1440 x 2960.
Although Mi Mix 2’s display gives it a sleek and innovative look, the most impressive thing about this smartphone is its hardware specs. Mi Mix 2 will be fueled by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 836 CPU. This is the most powerful mobile processor available on the market right now which means that Mi Mix 2 will be more than capable of performing any tasks. Moreover, the smartphone’s processing power is enhanced even further since Xiaomi also equipped it with the whopping amount of 6GB RAM.
Last but not least, we need to mention that Mi Mix 2 will be among the first devices ever to ship with Google’s latest Android 8.0 Oreo. This new operating system was unveiled only a couple of days ago and it looks like Xiaomi is one of the first companies to get its hands on it. Worth mentioning is that Google and Xiaomi are working together on a new Android One device and that’s probably why Xiaomi has priority when it comes to Android 8.0 Oreo.
