Samsung Announces Galaxy Note



Samsung has announced a new smartphone-tablet hybrid device, known as the Galaxy Note. The device made its first appearance IFA 2011 and it sports a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy Note runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread and not the tablet optimized version of the famous mobile operating system.

It is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor along with a 1GB RAM. Additionally, the Galaxy Note includes an 8 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera, TouchWiz UI 4.0 and LTE/HSPA+ capability.

The pricing and the exact availability is yet unknown but as the infographic below suggests the device will come with a stylus known as the S Pen.
