Nintendo to be Overwhelmed by Switch Demand During Christmas Season
Things are looking great for Nintendo, at least when it comes to Switch. The console is selling so well that Nintendo might not actually be able to keep up with the demand. What’s surprising is that Nintendo was faced with the completely opposite issue last year when it couldn’t get anyone interested in Wii U. Nonetheless, Nintendo Switch’s portability and cool game exclusives made it a bestseller and parents will have a hard time acquiring it for their kids during the Christmas season.
Nintendo Switch Christmas Shortage
If you ask any kid, there isn’t a more perfect Christmas gift than a gaming console. This is why companies such as Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo are making their biggest profits during the Christmas Holiday season. Even though Nintendo knows that too well, it seems like there are going to be some disappointed kids during this year’s Christmas.
The reason we strongly believe that Nintendo is going to have a shortage of portable Switch consoles this holiday season is because Nintendo’s own America President Reggie Fils-Aime was questioned on this matter and he avoided the subject. Reggie Fils-Aime was asked if Nintendo is able to keep up with the demand for Christmas and he stated the following evasive answer: “Are we going to have enough for the holiday? That’s what we are focused on”.
Microsoft and Sony
As everyone is able to clearly tell, the company’s America President isn’t too confident that Nintendo will be able to keep up with the demand. However, Microsoft and Sony are more than happy about this news since they are the ones who benefit the most. Even though neither Xbox One X or PS4 Pro cannot compete with Nintendo Switch when it comes to portability, both home consoles still offer 4K graphics gaming experiences that kids will more than likely love.
