Nexus 7 (2012) now available in India for just Rs. 9,999

The former version of the Nexus 7 tablet has received a price drop in the Indian market. This is the 2012 variant of the Google Nexus 7 tablet and it is now available in India for a starting price of Rs. 9,999 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model.

The price drop is across all the the three variants and online retailer Flipkart is the one selling this tablet at such reduced pricing.

While the 16 GB Wi-Fi online model is priced at Rs. 9,999, the 32GB Wi-Fi only model has been priced at Rs. 13,499 and the 32GB 3G + Wi-Fi model is priced at Rs. 16,999. Google has not yet updated this new pricing on the Google Play Store and at the moment it only seems to be exclusive to Flipkart.

The Nexus 7 is quite a impressive tablet for such price, it can run stock Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and it is powered by the powerful NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. It sports a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.

It is quite possible that the 2013 Nexus 7 may soon arrive in the India market. It obviously is a lot more capable device which sports a full HD display, is powered by the faster Snapdragon S4 processor and sports a much premium design.
