Motorola Milestone 2 Confirmed with pre-installed FroYo
Motorola has finally confirmed the successor to the Milestone and a we expected it is called the Milestone 2 which features Android 2.2 FroYo topped up with the latest MotoBlur.
The Milestone is really great phone and as a fan of Motorola and their Android products I am using one while it is very obvious that the Milestone 2 will soon be the device I am moving too. However, there will be a slight disappointment of heavily integrated MotoBlur. Anyways, all you Android lovers should now that Motorola has confirmed that the phone will be shipped with Android 2.2 FroYo, it will be powered by a 1GHz processor and will have a brilliant 8GB of onboard storage which is the best thing to happen to the Milestone. It will also have expandable memory support up to 32GB.

It features an enhanced version of MotoBlur which allows additional filtering options, which will help you with a much faster and cleaner experience. Also, like the Droid 2 it will not have the navigation pad while it features a directional pad integrated amongst the other keys and it still comes in a slide-out QWERTY form factor. It can also be used has a mobile hotspot which will allow up to 5 simultaneous connections and the tethering maybe dependent on your service provider.
Other than that it will come with Flash 10.1, a 5-megapixel camera, 720p HD Video Recording and it can be shared on your home network via DLNA. The phone will be available for purchase in Q4 this year while the pricing details are yet unannounced.
