Moto X4 with Dual-Cameras and Amazon Alexa to be Unveiled in September
Moto X4 has been the subject of many leaks and rumors but now we finally have some official information. First off, the most important thing we know about Moto X4 is that it will arrive somewhere in September in Europe and later this fall in the US. However, the most exciting thing about Motorola’s upcoming smartphone is the fact that it sports a high-end dual camera setup and Amazon’s personal assistant, Alexa.
This is the fourth generation of Moto X and the expectations bar is set quite high. Traditionally, the Moto X lineup used to be the place where people could find Motorola’s flagship smartphone. However, things have changed and Moto Z2 holds that tile now. Therefore, Moto X4 has been designed specially to appeal to mid-ranged budgets.
Launch Date and Price
As previously mentioned, European residents can expect Moto X4 to arrive in their local shops in September. On the other hand though, US residents will need to wait a little more time until they can get their hands on Moto X4. When it comes to price, Moto X4 is quite affordable being priced at 399 Euros which translates to 474 USD.
Dual Camera Setup and Alexa Voice Assistant
One of Moto X4’s key selling points is its rear mounted dual camera setup. Motorola equipped the highly anticipated smartphone with a setup that’s made from two 12MP sensors which feature a f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and dual-LED. Selfie lovers are not forgotten since Moto X4’s front side sports a smaller 8MP selfie sensor that’s packed with a large f/2.2 aperture and similar features as the rear side. Last but not least, we need to talk about Alexa. This is Amazon’s own-made personal assistant and it is known for being more than capable of handling tasks such as playing music, searching for information over the web, setting alarms and much more.
