LG V30 Hands-On Video Reveals Premium Specs
LG V30 has been the subject of many rumors and speculations during these past few days. It all started when Evan Blass leaked an official LG V30 press render. LG didn’t release any official statement in regard to the leak and the entire smartphone community started sparking rumors about it. However, LG V30 is now as official as it gets since the company released a hands-on video of it. Nonetheless, the smartphone looks impressive and it seems like LG finally has a chance against the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8, Google’s Pixel 2 and Apple’s iPhone 8.
A smartphone’s design is crucial to its success and LG knows that too well. This is why LG V30’s design is something special that seems to be a combination between LG V20 and LG G6. The biggest change in terms of design in comparison with other LG smartphones is the fact that the company decided to put its branding on the rear side. However, the best thing about LG V30 is that it sports a bezel-less display. In fact, this edge-to-edge display is what forced LG to put its logo on the back side.
Leaving the design aside, the features that really matter are the smartphone’s specs and LG V30 blows everyone out of the water when it comes to hardware parts. The smartphone is fueled by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 SOC. If the processor wasn’t impressive enough, LG also decided to pair it with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage space. Last but not least, LG V30 will also ship with a large 3,000 mAh battery.
The million-dollar question is if LG V30 will run on Google’s latest Android 8.0 Oreo? Sadly, the answer to that question is no. The smartphone will run on Android 7.1.2 Nougat straight out of the box and it will receive Android 8.0 Oreo during the upcoming months. It seems like Google still needs a little bit of time until it can start rolling out the public version of Oreo.
