Kingston outs USB 3.0 DataTraveler Ultimate

Kingston the company known for its flash memory products has recently unveiled its first USB 3.0 Flash drive, it is called the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0. It features the latest USB 3.0 technology which has the ability to provide up to ten times the data transfer rates of that of USB 2.0.

According to Kingston the DataTraveller Ultimate 3.0 has a read speed of 80MB/sec and write speed of 60MB/sec. This new flash drive from Kingston will be available in the three different storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The flash drive would also be backwards compatible as Kingston has also included the Y cable which is required by a few USB 2.0 ports to initialize USB 3.0 drivers.

The DataTraveler Ultimate comes with a 5 Year Warranty and it is now available for purchase.
