iBall Launches new 7-inch Android Tablet called Slide

Another affordable Android tablet hits the Indian market and this particular one comes from iBall. The company today announced the Slide which is a 7-inch Android 2.3 Gingerbread based tablet powered by a 1GHz processor.

The tablet has a capacitive touchscreen, includes 8GB on built-in storage, 2 megapixel front facing camera, USB host, HDMI output and a 4400 mAh battery. In regards to the connectivity the tablet supports 3G via a USB dongle, it has Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities.

The iBall Slide is priced at 13,995 INR ($305 approx) and soon hit the Indian market. Other affordable Android tablets in the Indian market include the Reliance 3G Tab, Beetel Magiq, Magnum Pepper Tablet PC and the Mercury mTab.
