HTC Titan and HTC Radar Windows Phone Mango Smartphones Announced

HTC has officially announced two new smartphones, both of which will run the latest upgrade of Windows Phone 7 OS. These include the HTC Titan and the HTC Radar and as expected, they made an appearance at the September 1 HTC event.

The HTC Titan is powered by a 1.5 GHz processor and runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. It is 9.9 mm thin, sports a 4.7 inch display, an 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 5.1 surround sound for videos and 16 GB of built-in memory.

The HTC Radar is powered by a 1 GHz processor and sports a 3.8 inch display. It also includes an 8 megapixel rear camera, but a front facing VGA camera and 5.1 surround sound for videos. These smartphone will first launch in Europe and Asia and will eventually become available globally.

  1. The Titan and Radar both seem exciting and fresh in the mobile market. The memory enhancement is one factor about Titan that could have been incorporated. With all the other feature, especially with the large screen, relatively high resolution camera accessory. The Titan is capable of being a stiff run to the ios5 or Androids. All in all, I liked Titan more than the Radar for its amazing application enhancements. Like the better MS office application, all the utilities are just so impressive.
