Dell Brings Latitude XT3 Notebook-Tablet Hybrid to India

A new launch by Dell in the Indian market is the Latitude XT3 portable laptop device. This laptop has a 13.3-inch rotatable HD LCD display. The most unique feature about the Latitude XT3 is that users can easily detach the display from the keyboard and use it has a standalone tablet device.

The Latitude XT3 is powered by either Intel’s Core i3, i5 or i7 processor, it runs Windows 7 and includes 2GB of RAM along with a 9-cell battery which Dell claims recharges up to 80 percent in an hour using the ExpressCharge technology.

While the laptop-tablet hybrid may seem a good choice for a few, the price would definitely destroy that excitement. The device starts selling from 100,000 INR, which apparently seems more than the combined price of an Android Honeycomb tablet and a basic Intel second generation Core processor powered laptop..

Update: It does not have a detachable display, instead the display can be rotated and be positioned over the keyboard transforming it into a tablet.
