Grand Theft Auto 5 Release Date is OFFICIAL for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC!
Here at Gigjets we’ve talked quite a lot about the upcoming release of Grand Theft Auto V for next-generating gaming consoles – the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC. And now we have the official release date coming from Rockstar itself!
Rockstar has recently released a brand new trailer for the Grand Theft Auto 5 (that you can check out below) and has also informed about the official release dates for PS4, Xbox One and PC owners.
Rockstar Games has officially announce that Grand Theft Auto V will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 with the PC version to follow January 27, 2015. It’s said to see that PC owners will have to wait until almost the end of January, 2015, but it seems that porting the game to PC isn’t as easy as it was believed.
According to Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will sport major visual and technical upgrades to make Los Santos and Blaine County more immersive than ever. The game will come with increased draw distances and higher resolution, but there will be many other additions and improvements, such as the following:
– New weapons, vehicles and activities
– Additional wildlife
– Denser traffic
– New foliage system
– Enhanced damage and weather effects
Rockstar also pointed out that Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will port enhanced radio selections with over 100 additional new songs and new DJ mixes from returning DJs across the game’s 17 radio stations. This is really cool and is one feature that many have requested on the platforms already released.
Also, if you go ahead and pre-order the game, you will get $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. How cool is that, right? You should know that $500, 000 will go for your Story Mode and the other half for your GTA Online in-game bank accounts.
Players who are returning from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will received rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp. Also, they will have new activities including wildlife photography and new shooting range challenges, new weapons and more. Here’s what else Rockstar said:
“Enhancements to Grand Theft Auto Online include an increased player count, with online play now for up to 30 players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC with much more to come.
Existing players will be able to transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. For more info about gaining access to exclusive content for returning players, please visit rockstargames.com/V/bonuscontent.”
