Lenovo is on the roll here at IFA 2014, where it has already announced the first Intel Atom-powered tablet, the Android Tab S8 and the biggest touch laptop so far, the Lenovo Y70. We have a look now at the Erazer X315, an affordable desktop gaming device.
The Lenovo ERAZER X315 is the latest addition to Lenovo’s line of affordable gaming desktop PCs, announced here at the IFA 2014 tech show in Berlin. The ERAZER X315 comes with AMD Radeon R9 series graphics, a quad-core processor and up to 2TB of SSHD. It also features immersive audio featuring 7.1 channel sound support and Dolby®enhancements.
It comes with a newly designed chassis, which features front LED lighting and a futuristic profile that mimics the smooth lines of a knight’s armor. On the front panel we find a one-touch port cover for easy access and a hidden air vent that keeps the device cool when the gaming heats up. It only has 12GB of memory, four USB 3.0 ports and always-on USB charging port for enhanced connectivity. Have a look at the picture from below to see more of its specs and features.
Jeff Meredith, vice president, marketing, Mobile Business Group, Lenovo, said the following:
“Our latest consumer tablet and PCs give consumers even more choice so they can select the right device that fits best into their mobile lifestyle. rom the super mobile TAB S8 tablet to the Y70 and ERAZER X315 gaming PC, we’ve optimized each one to meet the diverse needs of customers.”
The Lenovo ERAZER X315 will be available in North America beginning in November 2014 with models starting at $599 via major retailers and www.lenovo.com.
