Tesla is not only a Great Vehicle Manufacturer but also a Great Marketer – The Real Price of Model 3
A couple of weeks ago Tesla made headlines when it unveiled its brand new Model 3 sedan. This new all-electric car is going to be Tesla’s first mass-market vehicle and the entire world is getting enthusiastic about it. In fact, Tesla announced that it received over 500,000 pre-orders for Model 3 in only one week and people who order the car right now will receive it in 2018 because the company isn’t able to keep up with the demand.
Tesla has made a name for itself for creating some of the world’s best all-electric cars. They are fast, spacious and offer great mileage but more importantly, they are quite affordable. This is also the case with the new Model 3 sedan because the stock model is priced at only $35,000. This is a great price when considering that Model 3 will ship with the latest high-end technology which can only be found on Tesla’s vehicles.
Even though Model 3 is marketed as being an affordable all-electric vehicle, the price almost doubles up if customers decide to add some upgrades on it. As previously mentioned, the standard model has been priced at $35,000 but the final model amounts up to $55,000 which is not affordable anymore. The are many upgrades which make the Tesla experience what it is and many people will spend extra money on them.
While the stock model might be great and all, there are some upgrades which are basically essential. For example, the enhanced autopilot which is an essential Tesla feature costs $5,000 extra. Additional features such as two rear USB ports, LED fog lamps and tinted glass roof also costs $5,000 extra. From the looks of it, Tesla is not only a great vehicle manufacturer but also a great marketer because Model 3 is being advertised as a $35,000 vehicle but people will end up paying a lot more than that.
