Samsung Galaxy S9 Concept Pictures and Specs
Even though Galaxy S8 just came out a few months ago and it made record sales, this doesn’t mean that Samsung is not already looking towards the future. The South Korean based tech giant is not wasting any time because it already started working on Galaxy S9 and concept pictures are leaked all over the internet. The upcoming smartphone is going to be launch somewhere around 2018 and it will basically be a more powerful variant of Galaxy S8.
According to the leaked concept picture, Galaxy S9 will ship with a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive display. The panel is quite large in size but this not the most impressive thing about it. The best thing about Galaxy S9’s display is that it renders pictures and videos at a high resolution of 2,160 x 3,840 pixels. To make things even better, Galaxy S9 will also feature a fingerprint scanner that will be embedded beneath the display. Furthermore, the smartphone will look amazing because the display from the concept pictures is completely bezel-less.
Even though Galaxy S9 is expected to ship with a fingerprint sensor, it will also feature an iris scanner. This is only made possible because Galaxy S9’s front side will be equipped with two 8MP selfie cameras. On the rear side though, Galaxy S9 impresses everyone with it’s dual-camera setup that’s made from two 16MP highly optimized cameras.
The most important hardware part of a smartphone is its processor. Samsung knows that too well and this is why many people believe that Galaxy S9 will be powered by the company’s own Exynos 9810 processor. This chipset is built on the 8nm process node which is significantly faster than Qualcomm’s processors which are built on the 7nm piece of silicon. Nonetheless, this is just a concept picture which means that everything we know is subjective to change during the upcoming future.
