Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Leaked Manual Confirms Numerous Rumors
Samsung has been having some bad luck lately when it comes to leaked information. Even though the South Korean tech giant is doing its best in order to keep leaks from coming out, a couple of pages from Galaxy S8 Active’s manual were still leaked on Saturday. These pages are quite important since they reveal some key rumors which have been surrounding Galaxy S8 Active for a while now.
Rumors were pointing out that Galaxy S8 Active will be sold exclusively by AT&T in the US and Saturday’s leak confirms that this rumor is true. However, official renders of the smartphone show that it doesn’t feature AT&T’s branding which means that it might eventually be available in Sprint and Verizon’s stores as well.
This special edition of Galaxy S8 is created especially for people who enjoy owning a durable smartphone that’s able to resist in harsh environments. This is why Samsung made sure that Galaxy S8 Active edition is IP68 water and dust certified and to also receive a MIL-STD-810G rating. To make things even better, the smartphone’s display has been coated in Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Now that we know all this vital information about Galaxy S8 Active, the question that remains is when it will be launched? Well, answering that question is pretty simple since all of its predecessors were launched in June and we can be sure that Samsung is not going to steer away from that tradition.
In terms of specs, Galaxy S8 Active boasts with an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor that’s been clocked at 2.35GHz. Furthermore, the processor is also paired with an Adreno 540 graphics processing unit alongside 4GB of RAM. Also worth mentioning is that Galaxy S8 is fueled by a large non-removable Li-Ion 4,000 mAh battery that’s capable of lasting for days on end.
