Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL Design Style Unveiled by Olixar
While the entire world is talking about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8 and Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone 8, Google is working in the shadows on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The aforementioned smartphones are definitely going to take the tech market by storm, especially when considering how little information we have about them. Fortunately, the commercial case company Olixar decided to give everyone some insight about what design style Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will use.
Take a closer look at the featured image because that is the first render of Pixel 2 and the larger model. Both smartphones look sleek but what’s really surprising is that Google didn’t take any style ques from Samsung or Apple. Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL feature their own style and that’s great because it makes them feel more unique.
Another cool thing that we can take from this render picture is that both models are going to feature the same design. This is quite surprising since rumors were pointing out that Pixel 2 XL will feature a different style than the standard model. Nonetheless, it seems like Google is sticking to its policy to make both smartphones identical from a design point of view. However, there will still be a rather significant difference in terms of display size.
Worth mentioning is that this is not the first time that Olixar, the commercial case company, decides to show official renders of unreleased smartphones. For example, Olixar managed to figure out the exact design that Apple used on iPhone 7 and Samsung on Galaxy S8. Furthermore, these Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL cases are already available for pre-orders right now and their price starts at $5.99. However, what’s interesting is that Olixar’s Pixel 2 render doesn’t show the top or bottom side of the smartphone which means that we can’t see if it will feature a 3.5mm audio jack or not.
