Nokia Lumia 825 details leak, sports 5.2-inch display and a quad-core processor
An unknown and unannounced Nokia smartphone has now made an appearance online and it seems the company soon plans to launch a Windows Phone device with a large display. Chinese website Dospy has revealed few specifications for this upcoming smartphone, apparently it is the Lumia 825 which will feature a 5.2-inch display.
The device will be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz. Along with this it will have an Adreno 305 GPU and the 5.2-inch display will feature a 720p resolution. Apart from this not other details of this smartphone have been revealed but it is safe to assume that the device may soon be announced officially as all of these leaks start coming in a few months before the launch of the product.
We know that the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update allows OEMs to add a 1080p resolution display to their but Nokia does not seem interested to do so on this device. Considering that it is powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor the device may not be a top-tier smartphone and Nokia might plan another one with for the higher resolution display with a better chipset.
The availability and other details are well shrouded in the mist, but if this device really does exist then we might see more details in the near future.
