Nokia 8 – Everything You Need to Know About it
We were able to see a bunch of great new smartphones come out this year but some of the most memorable ones are Nokia’s handheld devices. The entire tech community was shocked last year to find out that HMD Global purchased the rights to Nokia and that it wants to help the Finnish manufacturer become one of the biggest names in the smartphone world once again.
The first smartphone that Nokia and HMD Global launched together was Nokia 6. The aforementioned device is a rather affordable smartphone that’s been equipped with medium hardware specs and it made record sales in China. However, Nokia 6 is nowhere near being classified as a flagship smartphone and here is where Nokia 8 comes in. The latest news surrounding Nokia 8 are saying that it might be unveiled on August 16th and that it’s a complete beast when it comes to hardware specs.
Neither Nokia nor HMD Global are giving out vital information about Nokia 8 but to their bad luck and our fortune, leaksters have managed to get their hands on everything that we need to know about it. Today we’re going to take a look at everything that leaksters managed to unveil about Nokia 8 and see what we can expect.
The display panel plays a major role in a smartphone’s success and Nokia knows that too well. This is the reason why the upcoming Nokia 8 will be equipped with a rather large 5.3-inch IPS LCD display which will feature a high pixel resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a pixel density of 554 pixels per inch.
In terms of hardware performance, Nokia 8 impresses us with it’s octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that’s been clocked at 2.45GHz Kyro. Furthermore, the smartphone’s processor is also fitted with an Adreno 540 graphics processing unit and 4GB or 6GB of RAM, depending on the acquired variant.
