Motorola announced that these two smartphones will be launched in India before August ends. Numerous media reports are suggesting that Motorola might host an event on August 22nd and that’s when Moto G5S and G5S Plus will be officially launched. Moreover, the standard model will cost $299 while premium one will be more expensive being priced at $354. Without any further ado, let’s check out what these two smartphones have to offer.
Moto G5S will ship with a 5.2-inch full HD panel that’s been coated in Corning Gorilla Glass. On the other hand, the premium model will ship with a large 5.5-inch full HD panel that’s also been coated in Corning Gorilla Glass. Also, worth mentioning is that both smartphones will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat right out of the box. However, they will surely receive Android 8.0 O once the public version is rolled out.
In terms of performance, the standard model will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 CPU that’s been paired with an Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The Plus edition will be more powerful since it will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 CPU alongside the same Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Last but not least, both smartphones will be equipped with 32GB or 64GB of internal storage space which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
