HTC U 11 Best Specs and Features
Back in May, when the HTC U 11 was released, there were some delays. According to the rumors, they were caused by the fact that the flagship could not get all the components they needed in time, namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. This is a component largely used by smartphone manufacturers. But the phone got released eventually, and not with any specs, but some impressive ones.
HTC U 11 Characteristics
Thanks to a 360-degree rendered video that was made based on some factory CAD sketches, we learned the HTC U11 features a glossy red cover on the outside. Perhaps the most interesting thing about it is the fact that it brings edge sensors called Edge Sense. You could even say that this is the defining feature for this flagship. Currently, there is no other phone on the market to offer this feature. If you haven’t heard about it, the Edge Sense lets users navigate the device simply by swiping along the edges or squeezing them.
The reports have shown that the phone includes a 5.5-inches Quad HD display. As we mentioned in the beginning, just like many other smartphones existent on the market, it runs on a Qualcomm SD 835 CPU. Besides this one, you will also find 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Thankfully, the latter can be expanded up to 2 TB.
Regarding the camera, rumor had it even before the launch that it would feature a 12 MP camera on the back. The front snapper would be a 16 MP one, complete with a fingerprint compatibility feature. However, the interesting part is that the phone does not offer a 3.5 mm headphone jack. This will be replaced by an adaptor, as well as by other accessories. There are two variants of the phone, so you can choose between various RAM and storage configurations.
