Google’s Gmail brings new Calling Features which allow you to Call Phones

Google has done it again! The company is now providing you with a brand new feature which will let you call any phone from your computer, using Gmail. It is really very simple to get started with it, you simply need to download a plug-in on your computer and you can then dial a phone number from your Gmail window.

There is no doubt that this is a brilliant service, imagine what it can do once it gets on your mobile phone, anyways I think the chance of that happening are very less at least for now. Moreover, the best part is that calls to U.S. and Canada will be absolutely free, for this particular year while you can make a call to other countries for as little as $0.02 per minute.

Another great feature is that if you are using Google Voice and you have a Google Voice Number your calls will display this number as the outbound ID, while you can also allow incoming calls to your Google Voice Number through Gmail.

You can now go to your Gmail, and if the service activated you will see an option called, “Call Phone” under the chat column. Well, I have feeling that a few network providers may suffer some damage this year.
