Essential PH-1 Is Now Available for Pre-Orders

There aren’t many people that have a chance to come in the smartphone industry and take it by storm, but Andy Rubin and its Essential PH-1 might just be able to do it. In case you don’t know who Andy Rubin is, we’ll go over his credentials right now. He is a former Google executive and the original parent of Android OS. This smartphone is obviously going to run on Android OS but the most impressive thing about it is the fact that it offers a bunch of high-end hardware specs for a price of $700, that’s quite affordable in comparison with the likes of iPhone, Galaxy S8 and Pixel.


Android fans have been eagerly awaiting for this smartphone to come out for a while now, but Essential PH-1 ran into some problems and missed its original shipping target. However, the smartphone is available for pre-orders right now and it will ship in 30 days.


Essential PH-1 sports a 5.71-inch LTPS IPS LCD panel which offers a high pixel resolution of 1312 x 2560 pixels. Moreover, the device’s bezels are really slim and this is why the large display manages to cover 85% of its surface thus giving it an innovative look. When it comes to processing power, Essential PH-1 boasts with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 CPU that’s been clocked at 2.45GHz. The processing is enhanced even further because Qualcomm’s processor comes bundled with an Adreno 540 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM. Sadly, the smartphone doesn’t support microSD cards but its large 128GB ROM should be more than enough to provide owners with enough space.
