Elder Scrolls Online for PS4 and Xbox One: The Latest Details
The Elder Scrolls Online is a massive multiplayer online role playing video game developed by ZeniMax Studios. It is a part of the uber-famous Elder Scrolls franchise and is the first open world multiplayer game of the series.
Elder Scrolls Online was released on April 4 2014 for Windows and OS X and on 17 July for Steam. The version for Playstation 4 and Xbox One was scheduled to be released in June 2014 but in May 2014 a 6 month delay was announced, which means that Elder Scrolls Online for Playstation 4 and Xbox One will likely hit the markets in December 2014 or early 2015.
In the gameplay, players have access to four different classes after creating their character: Dragon Knight, Nightblade, Templar and Sorcerer. Like previous Elder Scrolls games, Elder Scrolls Online features a blend of free roaming exploration, quests and random events. However, the game does not provide offline game play meaning that players cannot play solo, but according to the developers, there is plenty of gameplay for players who prefer to play solo.
Like previous Elder Scrolls titles, Elder Scrolls Online is placed in the continent of Tamriel and has a storyline which is loosely connected with other Elder Scrolls games. The story revolves around 3 different warring factions fighting to lay claim to the throne of the Emperor of Tamriel and players will have a chance to join one of the three factions.
Moreover, a 4 faction could also be unlocked which will be entirely different from the 3 factions. Almost all of the continent of Tamriel has been featured in Elder Scrolls Online, but much of it has to be unlocked for expansion content. Think of GTA series in which other cities are unlocked as the story progresses.
Elder Scrolls Online has received most positive reviews and was the highest selling game in UK for the month of April. The game had about 800,000 subscribers by the end of June 2014.
I believe, Elder Scrolls Online is a wonderful game with lots of hidden content and much to tinker with. So, all the Elder Scrolls lovers, go and buy Elder Scrolls Online and share the fun with your friends and thousands of other people all over the globe.
